Went on a little tourist jaunt - saw Ford's theatre where Lincoln was shot, and the subsequent house where he died. It was oddly moving, even for a non-American. The theatre is actually a funtioning theatre (though I doubt their bills of "An American Cousin" ever sell out) - and quite beautiful.

What Happened Here?
